Students will have the rare opportunity to privately audition for the musical theatre chairs of the best college musical theatre programs in the country and receive personalized feedback on their audition. This gives our students a MAJOR leg-up in the college audition process.
How do you prepare for a college audition dance call when you don't know what the combination will be? Our professional choreography team will teach you the tips and tricks to learn choreography fast and help you stand out in a group of dancers to the college audition panel.
Vocal health is important in the college audition process! At unified auditions, you may be singing the same audition cuts for three to five different colleges. Kim Steinhauer will fix trouble spots in your audition songs and assure you are approaching each song with a healthy technique that will last for numerous auditions in one day.
This class is absolutely imperative for a successful college audition. Joe Deer will work with each student on personalizing their college audition material and find the cuts that show you off the best. Colleges will ask you questions about your acting choices within a song and we'll make sure you know your song inside and out!
Afraid of monologues? Don't be! Andrew Smith from CMU will work one-on-one with each student to make specific choices with their monologues by breaking down the actions and beats. You'll feel excited about bringing your monologues into the room and prepared to take any direction or adjustment a college musical theatre chair might ask of you.
